I’m back in Las Cruces and I had a full, satisfying day—shopping, knocking out chores, catching up with an old friend, and of course stopping by my favorite Dollar Tree on Mall Drive. I even made it to one of my happy places, Home Depot. There’s just something about wandering those aisles and hunting for deals. I scored the white semi-gloss paint for my bedroom—on sale, naturally—and I’m planning to paint Friday afternoon into the evening.
Speaking of coffee… I didn’t have a drop this morning until I got back from Albuquerque. The drive was smooth, and I didn’t want to stop more than once on the way down. If I’d had coffee, I already know it would’ve been a whole situation with multiple stops. So I held out until I rolled back into Las Cruces.
On the way home, I stopped for gas in T or C and took a little drive through town. I found so many shops I can’t wait to explore on a weekend trip.
