Happy Friday!!
I am officially off until next Friday, and honestly, it feels great. I took the time off to take my mother to several doctor appointments next week, but I’m also carving out space to relax, tackle some home projects, and pour energy into my Retro Blog page. My goal is to have a few posts ready to go by next Thursday.
I’ve got a lot of brainstorming ahead for this Retro Blog — I can see the whole vibe so clearly: vintage computers, cameras, toys, electronics, all the nostalgic goodness. I just haven’t decided which topic to dive into first. I also want to share thrift-store tips and how to score vintage treasures on the cheap. Anything vintage has my heart.
Today was calm in the best way. I worked this morning, knocked out laundry, enjoyed a great lunch/dinner, and now I’m bouncing between home projects and #The100DayProject tasks. It’s a gentle, warm, relaxing day here in Las Cruces, and I’m trying to get as much done as I can before I retreat to my bedroom for the night.
As for the weekend, I canceled all my plans — next week is packed, and I need the space to prepare.
Alright…back to the projects I go.
