Tuesday marks two years at my job—two long years, but honestly, what an adventure. From day one to now, I’ve picked up so much: bouncing between different desks, learning the ins and outs of government procedures, and mastering advanced record-keeping systems I didn’t even know existed before this.
I keep my work life private on purpose. It’s not always wise to broadcast where you work or what you do, and I’m perfectly fine keeping that boundary. All you really need to know is that I work five days a week… and I absolutely cannot wait to retire.
